A Family Effort

Last weekend it was the Kirstenbosch Plant Fair. We were hoping the organisers would sell off the remaining calendars for us and use the funds for conservation work, but instead we had to take a stall and sell them ourselves. So we decided to give it our best and used leftover prints to make flags, posters and sandwich boards for the girls. We only sold 35 (out of 250), but had a lot of fun, and frankly with a view like the one above, there's no reason to complain !

Pia and her friend Robin - the Calendar Princesses. They cost us far more in pancakes and icecreams, than they made in sales, but their enthusiasm was tops.

We still have a few hundred calendars left, so if you know of any takers/ good cause, please let us know!
